Other Places

The world looks different from a bike than an aeroplane or a bus and you cover 3 times the distance than when you are walking. Soon I will start bringing you safe, fun and visually appealing rides from different parts of the world.  See USA and New Zealand and Victoria

Send in a letter. Get the bush going. Support Nsw RAil Trails Bicycle NSW"BUILD IT FOR BATLOW"

For five years (actually 14 years) the Tumut-Batlow Rail Trail has been a project of significance for the Snowy Valleys Shire, but no matter how hard one advocates for the project, forces within council thwart our every move.

Following the Dunn’s Road Fire, Batlow more than ever needs the rail trail development to proceed, it is the "Only" credible large-scale project that during construction and eventual commissioning would result in economic renewal and long-term sustainability for the peoples of Batlow.

We need your support and urge readers to write in your own words to the Snowy Valleys Council Chief Executive Officer, expressing your support for what once was known as the Tumut-Batlow Rail Trail; but will forevermore be known as the BATLOW-TUMUT RAIL TRAIL.

Let’s stand united and do it for Batlow! Please share to all your friends.

Write to;

The CEO,
Snowy Valleys Council,
Mr Matt Hyde,
76 Capper Street,
Tumut,
NSW 2720.

Email: mhyde@snowyvalleys.nsw.gov.au

Yours truly,
Phil Barton
Chairperson,
